Year: 1971
Make: Plymouth
Model: Hemi Cuda Convertible
Item Description: Item Description: Two-door convertible, 426 Hemi V-8, white with black accent and black interiorThis incredible car has been called the world's most valuable muscle car, for it is the very last Hemi Cuda convertible to roll off the assembly line in 1971. The production date of the car is May 28, 1971, and it has been driven only 8,300 miles since new. This incredible car also just received a full restoration to its factory original condition, and it remarkably retained all of its original body panels as no rust was uncovered. The rarity of this Hemi Cuda is supported by the facts; only 11 were ever built in 1971, and of that number only 7 were built for the U.S. domestic market. Lot number 5119 is one of two that were originally exported to Europe, and is now back in the U.S. This Hemi Cuda is also one of the eight automatic transmission cars built, and is one of the two that was built with the factory billboard stripes. As a European car, it still retains its original “Kilometer speedometer” and its export tag is still on the passenger side fender. Indeed this Hemi Cuda’s pedigree is without question as it is certified by Gallen Govier and listed in the Chrysler registry. Options on this Hemi Cuda are black interior with leather bucket seats, Sno-white exterior, Rally Gauges, interior lighting group, center console, power brakes, hood pins, 3-speed wiper motor, power windows, and the famous Billboard graphics package. So significant is this car that the Franklin Mint is currently working on a model of this fine example of Plymouth’s heritage. Late last year, a 1971 Hemi convertible sold for $3,000,000 at auction. This 1971 Hemi Cuda is a rare car and the chance to bid on one is rarer still. This car will set the world’s standard for muscle car pricing. Don’t miss this chance to own a piece of Plymouth’s most powerful history. Estimated Value: $5,000,000+ |
