Item Description: Two-door, three-window coupe, 364 cubic inch dohc Corvette V8 engine, 6-speed manual transmission, Gale Force Berry exterior, body-color interior in leather and suede.Three-window Ford coupes from the 1930s are among the favorite cars of restorers and rodders. The 1933 Model 40 is particularly attractive because of its light, subtly-curved grille and sloping forward surfaces. This one-off creation began as an original 1933 Model 40 Coupe. After a four-year transformation, the only unmodified aspect of the car is the rear roof radius and parts of the rear quarters. This all-steel three-window coupe features a Gale Force Berry by Sikkens exterior and a leather and suede interior matched to the body color. A de-burred and polished LS6 Corvette engine, featuring custom polished aluminum and chrome components, is mated to a fully de-burred and polished T56 6-speed transmission. The full custom exhaust system with hand-fabricated headers and custom mufflers has the mufflers, tailpipe, and exhaust cone hand-formed as one unit. The original chassis was extensively modified with boxed frame rails and a lengthened wheelbase. One-off, custom chromed front and rear billet aluminum control arms highlight the suspension, which uses a chromed rack and pinion steering system. Stainless steel brake lines complement the custom Wilwood braking system. The body showcases a smoothed floor pan, hand-made firewall, hand-made inner and outer door panels and door structure, front quarter panels moved back 2 inches, quarter panels sectioned, hand-rolled rear apron formed over wood buck, chopped and sectioned roof, custom hood, power concealed retractable license plate, bobbed rear fenders, lengthened trunk lid, shortened rear under trunk lid panel with radiused corners to match trunk lid, hand made stainless steel tail light bezels, V-rod headlights, custom one-off wheels, and much more. The completely custom interior features many hand-formed aluminum, steel, and fiberglass components. Custom gauges and audio system accent the suede and leather trimming. This special car has won over 30 national automotive events around the country & Canada! Over $750,000 has been invested in this perfect showpiece. Estimated Value: $450,000 - $550,000 |
